Childrens' holidays
as they should be
As parents ourselves we really 'get' that parents need to continue to work, secure in the knowledge that their children are happy and safe – and, hopefully, a bit worn out and kind of muddy by tea-time too!
Luke
Forest Club near Frome
Low-cost school holiday fun giving the same free ranging connection to nature that childhood holidays used to offer but which, for so many, is now lost.
Luke Newman, a highly experienced local bushcraft and outdoor learning expert has created nature-connected, full-day, holiday experiences for children - shelter building, fire making, cooking food together over the fire, wood craft, storytelling, lots of games - chill out under the canopy of the trees in a 'woodland camp' nestled within the grounds of the ancient Forest of Ammerdown, just outside Frome.
Children's holidays as they should be!
While exploring the wonders of the woodlands, your kids can engage in games, den construction, fire building, delicious culinary creations over the fire, crafts, storytelling and other activities.
Venue: Ammerdown Woods, Nr Frome

My daughter went to Luke’s forest club during the Easter break. She’s not the most outdoorsy of kids, but really enjoyed every minute of her time - she had lots of fun in the woods, making bows & arrows, toasting marshmallows & playing with new friends. She’ll be back!
