Welcome Home
Wild Homecoming isn’t simply a safari.
It isn’t a yoga retreat. And it isn’t just another holiday.
It’s an invitation to experience Zimbabwe in a deeply authentic way.
For ten days, we’ll make our home at a beautiful River House on the vast, family-run Rocky Glen Ranch in Southern Zimbabwe.
Here, life moves differently.
Guided more by nature, the rising and setting sun, the changing light and the rhythms of the land.
There is a sense of timelessness here.
A feeling of stepping away from the clock and into something older, slower and more instinctive.
Horses. Water. Wildlife. Vast, untouched landscapes. Open skies. Food grown and prepared with care. Stories around the fire.
This isn’t somewhere you’ll simply visit. It’s somewhere you’ll be welcomed.
Come as a guest. Perhaps leave feeling a little like family.
What will you do with your one wild and precious life?
Our Home by the River
Our home for the adventure sits beside the river at the edge of Rocky Glen.
When I stayed here, I was completely mesmerised by it.
A beautiful, shady lawn runs towards the water. The veranda looks out across the river, while the sounds of everyday life from the neighbouring community gently carry across — voices, movement, people fishing.
Inside, it feels warm and lived in.
A real home.
A place with stories.
Peaceful and connected all at once.
This will become the heart of Wild Homecoming.
The place we return to.
Gather.
Eat.
Rest.
Reflect.
And call home for ten days.
With only eight women, the experience will remain intimate and deeply personal.
The Soul of the Experience
Every Wild Homecoming will be slightly different, shaped by the women who join us, the wildlife, the weather and the land itself.

At Its Heart
At its heart, Wild Homecoming is an invitation to slow down enough to remember what it feels like to belong.
To belong to your body.
To belong to the Earth.
To belong to a community.
To belong to yourself.
It’s an invitation to experience Zimbabwe not simply as somewhere to visit, but as somewhere that gently invites you back into relationship — with the land, with its people, with the rhythms of nature and with the quieter, wiser parts of yourself.
To step, for a little while, into a sense of timelessness.
To remember a slower, more instinctive way of living.
What it feels like to be alive.
To be human.
To be part of the living world.
